Throughout his life, Belgian painter René Magritte was obsessed with objects that weren’t pipes. Gérard de Nerval, a famous poet and figure of French Romantic movement, allegedly strolled the streets of Paris accompanied by his pet lobster, Thibault, tied on a blue-ribbon leash.
If you ask me, I think these guys were on to something.
