How does the CIA convince old tribal warlords in Afghanistan to side with the U.S. in the War on Terror? With money? With crates of guns and surface-to-air missiles? With military support? With promises not to interfere in the country’s lucrative poppy trade? With diamonds? With gold?

Nope. According to the Washington Post, the bribe of choice is now a little blue pill…
